The move-in fee
There is a one-time move-in administration fee of $2,000. It covers the work of getting ready for a new resident, including the care appraisal and paperwork.
How families pay
Ridgeview Gardens is private pay. We don't accept Medi-Cal and don't bill insurance directly. Families commonly pay using:
- Savings, retirement income or pensions
- Long-term care insurance (you pay us, then submit to your insurer for reimbursement)
- VA Aid & Attendance benefits for eligible veterans and surviving spouses
- The sale of a home
How we compare to in-home care costs
Hiring caregivers at home is usually billed by the hour. Once someone needs help many hours a day or overnight, those hours add up quickly, and that's before the mortgage or rent, utilities, food, home repairs and safety changes. Our monthly rate bundles round-the-clock care, meals, housekeeping and a private room into one predictable price, and there's always someone awake and nearby. For many families, that makes a small care home both simpler and more affordable than full-time help at home.

How much does it cost?
Private rooms are $7,000–$10,000 per month, depending on the room and care needs. A couples room is $12,000–$14,000 per month. Hospice care is $350 per day.
What's included?
The monthly rate includes the room, meals, care and housekeeping — pretty much everything. Incontinence supplies and special diet items are not included.
Is there a move-in fee?
Yes. There is a one-time move-in administration fee of $2,000.
Do you accept Medi-Cal or insurance?
Ridgeview Gardens is private pay. We don't accept Medi-Cal and don't bill insurance directly. Families with long-term care insurance pay us and then submit for reimbursement. Many families also use savings, VA benefits or the sale of a home.
